Pflugerville diet store hosts fundraiser for animal shelter

Pflugerville Nutrition is hosting the first fundraiser for the Pflugerville animal shelter because the pandemic started.

All ideas the retail store receives from July 6 by way of Saturday will go the Pflugerville Animal Welfare Companies, as will 20% of its sales on Saturday, explained Denise Stokes, owner of Pflugerville Diet.

The shake and electricity tea shop at 2700 W. Pecan St. also will also host a “Handle Oneself Celebration” with neighborhood suppliers Kendra Scott and Suga’s Cakery from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday as one more way to elevate funds for the shelter. Those attending are welcome to deliver their furry good friend.

“We are so fired up to host this function,” Stokes reported. “We have been promoting it on social media, telling our buyers that appear in about the celebration, and honestly our purpose is to raise as a lot dollars as achievable for the shelter.”

Carley Cardwell, board president of the Mates of Pflugerville Animal Shelter, reported this will be the initial in-individual fundraiser for the shelter considering that the pandemic commenced in March 2020.

“I’m hunting forward to observing interaction with people today again since I truly missed becoming capable to see anyone who supports us and to have the possibility to chat to them in person yet again,” Cardwell stated.
