Columbus Italian Pageant returns
The Columbus Italian Pageant,introduced by St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, will return Oct. 8-10.
The once-a-year celebration of food stuff and tradition will element kid’s activities, a marching band levels of competition and a host of enjoyment including Elio Scaccio with the Rick Brunetto Significant Band, Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses, and the San Giovanni Dancers.

Dublin trying to get apps for $150,000 work
The Dublin Arts Council is trying to find artists to apply to acquire a $150,000 commission to generate a permanent general public artwork at M.L. “Red” Trabue Nature Reserve in Dublin.
The artwork — to be the newest function in the Dublin Art in Public Areas system, begun in 1988 — is scheduled for installation and dedication in the summer months of 2023.
M.L. “Red” Trabue Mother nature Protect is named for the Dublin naturalist, journalist and tv pioneer. The 90-acre park includes wetlands, biking and going for walks paths, a fishing pond, arboretum, wildflower and prairie grasslands and an 1865-era log cabin.
Park entrances are at 6835 Avery-Muirfield Drive and 6566 Article Road in Dublin.

Local community organizations Alicia’s Closet, Fostering Appreciate, and Stitched Collectively will host a Back again to College Bash on Aug. 9 to support children afflicted by foster treatment.
